WhiteGlove specializes in wood floor restoration to enhance your hardwood floors appearance and maximize the life span of your natural surface. We use an odorless, dust-free technique that is effective on most wood floors and does not utilize the typical sanding system.

If your floors have become dull our techniques can have them looking like new. We gently scuff the surface of the hardwood floors so that a fresh coat of finish can adhere to it. This method will form a new surface layer that will accentuate the wood grain and make your floors look immaculate again.

WhiteGlove’s wood floor restoration will repair, stain, seal and refinish any damaged floors. Whether your floors are raw wood or a pre-finished brand of flooring, repairs become a necessity from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances that may have caused nicks or scratches. WhiteGlove will leave your hardwood floors in a condition that emphasize the prestige and character of your home or business.

Types of wood floors we clean and restore

Hardwood – Made most often from oak, and are cut from one solid piece of wood (as opposed to engineered flooring which are composed of 3 to 5 layers of lumber glued as one to make a whole.) .  Hardwood floors are used mainly for their aesthetic qualities and high durability in a variety of climates and room purposes.  The most common design types for a modern hardwood floor, are strip, plank, and parquet flooring.  Strip floors may be the most common, as it features 1.5 to 2.25 inch wide boards installed in a linear fashion.  Plank flooring is the same as strip floors except that it is available in widths from 3 to 14 inches.  Finally, parquet flooring is to be composed of different variations of strip and plank floors, and is installed in geometric styles that may also include other floors materials.

Laminates (Engineered Wood) -  3-5 layers of wood pressed together, with the grains of the wood running in different directions, resulting in a dimensionally stable plank not affected to the same degree by moisture as solid plank floors (Hardwood).
